STURBRIDGE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Mass. State Police seized 143 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in Sturbridge Friday.
Officials say a trooper was patrolling I-84 just before 5:30 p.m. when he stopped a gray Lexus for a motor vehicle violation. After speaking with the two occupants, the trooper requested a K-9 team to the scene.
Investigators say they found the massive amount of marijuana inside the car.
Two 19-year-old men, Yonghui Liang and Zichao Bu, both of New York, were arrested on charges of trafficking in marijuana and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
The men were held on $5,000 bail pending their arraignment Tuesday in Dudley District Court.
