State police search for suspect accused of sexual assault on Framingham girl

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – State police are assisting Framingham police in the search for a suspect accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at knifepoint Wednesday afternoon in Framingham.

The alleged attack happened just before 3 p.m. right after the girl walked off of her school bus on Gorman Road. As soon as the report came in, state and local police swarmed the neighborhood. A state police helicopter, K-9 teams, and Framingham State University campus police all assisted in the search.

Residents watched as officers searched streets as well as a large wooded area near Route 9. But after hours of searching, there was no sign of the suspect, which has neighbors on edge.

The victim told police the suspect was a light-skinned black or Hispanic male about 17 or 18 years old and had short, black hair.

At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt, jeans, and black sneakers with mud on them.
