State police nab one of their 'most wanted' sex offenders

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — One of Massachusetts' most wanted sex offenders is now in custody, just a day after he was added to that list.

Reggie Ellenwood was convicted of sexually assaulting a pair of pre-teen girls decades ago and police say he never registered as a sex offender.

Ellenwood was arrested in Boston Friday night, just hours after state police listed him as one of the most wanted sex offenders in the state.

Mass. State Police say he's one of the worst of the worst.

FOX25 was there as police released the mugshots and information about multiple sex offender fugitives. All of the men have bene convicted of brutal crimes. Now, they've failed to register and seemingly disappeared.

No word yet if the most wanted listing helped bust Ellenwood.
