Officers were successfully able to find the girl. She was taken to the hospital.

Police said they questioned the girl for several hours Wednesday night. Her story was "very vague" and "she did not fully cooperate," police said.

The girl told police she had been "given a ride by a male and then dropped off by the male in the area where she was located," according to a news release. The girl also spoke with investigators about meeting men on an online website.

The case remains under investigation, but police said they wanted to make it clear that it was not a random incident and that there is no imminent threat to the public.

As seen on FOX25 News at 10 p.m., a crime scene was established near the intersection of Route 3 and Route 18 in Weymouth.

While the search for the girl was taking place, officers responded to a second crime scene near Columbian Square in Weymouth.
