MANSFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A South Easton man was issued a citation following a two-vehicle crash involving a tanker truck on Route 495 in the Mansfield area Tuesday.
According to Mass. State Police, the 52-year-old driver of the car rear-ended the truck, which was carrying corn syrup, while driving northbound in the center lane on Route 495 at about 11:07 a.m.
As a result of the collision, the passenger car caught fire; however, no one was injured.
The crash was cleared at about 12:30 p.m.
