GREENVILLE, SC (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A special needs student from South Carolina was suspended from school indefinitely this week after showing his classmates a picture he drew of a bomb.
Amy Parham tells FOX Carolina her son, Rhett, is a fan of a video game that involves a cartoon bomb and chose to draw the explosive over the weekend. Other children told administrators at Rhett's middle school about the drawing after he brought it to school to show them.
Parham claims administrators told her they recognized Rhett is not violent. She says they suspended him because they were "worried about their perception."
