South Boston fatal shooting victim identified as local teen

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Police have identified the male victim who was shot and killed in South Boston on Monday as an 18-year-old South Boston teen.

Jonathan Reyes was fatally shot in the area of 335 W. 2nd Street around 2:51 a.m. on Monday.

When police arrived at the scene, they found Reyes suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Tufts Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.

The investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing.
