Soldier surprises wife after first pitch

NORFOLK, Va. — A Virginia woman thought she had won a contest to throw out a first pitch at a baseball game, but IT was part of a big surprise.

Hidden behind the catcher's mask was the woman's husband, Rafe, an Army specialist who had returned home a week early.

After Madi O'Hara threw the first pitch, the catcher took off his mask and looked up at Madi O'Hara, who quickly realized it was her husband. The announcer told the stadium that it was a special guest surprise, her husband.

The O'Hara embraced, holding back tears.
