Shrewsbury firefighter resigns amid allegations of indecent assualt on teen babysitter

A firefighter in Shrewsbury resigned after allegedly assaulting his children's teenage babysitter, reports the Worcester Telegram & Gazette.

Sen Bohdiewicz admitted last week there is enough evidence for a guilty verdict on charges of indecent assault and battery against the teen.

Bohdiewicz is accused of inappropriately touching the buttocks of his children's 15-year-old babysitter and commenting on her body.

His resignation takes effect immediately, but he has been on paid leave pending the outcome of a town investigation.
