Shots fired into Lawrence home, narrowly missing mother, her child

LAWRENCE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Two bullets fired into a Lawrence home early Sunday morning and one of them narrowly missed a woman, her boyfriend, and their infant daughter.

It happened at 3:52 a.m. while the family was in a bedroom watching television. That's when the woman said she heard four shots.

Two bullets came into two bedrooms. One of them fired into the couple's bedroom, passing through the headboard of the bed, bouncing off the ceiling and wall before falling down behind the child's crib.

Another bullet broke through the window of another bedroom, where the woman's older daughter was sleeping. The girl was covered in shattered glass.

No one was injured.

The woman told FOX 25's Nicole Jacobs she has no idea who could have done this.

Police retrieved the bullet that landed behind the baby's crib. The incident remains under investigation.
