Shots fired in standoff between suspect and officers in Franklin, NH

FRANKLIN, NH — Franklin police ordered a shelter in place for residents after a standoff between officers and a suspect on the run.

The standoff began early Wednesday morning between officers and Ryan Brouillard, who is wanted on parole violations. Plymouth, New Hampshire police posted on December 22 that there was an active warrant out for Brouillard's arrest.

Police say shots were fired in Wednesday's standoff. A shelter in place was ordered for residents near Prospect and Pleasant Streets. Residents were told to be prepared to evacuate the area.
