Shocking photo: Wood post crashes through Holyoke woman's windshield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A woman narrowly escaped injury after a 4x4 wood post came crashing through her windshield.

The 67-year-old woman from Holyoke had been driving a Subaru north on I-91 in Springfield at the time.

The wood post is believed to have fallen off of another vehicle and then run over by a tractor-trailer, which sent it through the air and into the woman's windshield.

The woman was not injured. Police reminded residents to always ensure all loads are secure.
