PLYMOUTH, Mass. — In a letter sent to parents on Friday afternoon, school officials at Plymouth North High School reported a minor was sexually assaulted on campus earlier this week.
The Plymouth County District Attorney's office said a 15-year-old boy was charged with rape and indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over, and has been released on personal recognizance.
He has been ordered to stay away and refrain from any contact with the female victim.
Officials said the incident occurred on Tuesday after school hours.

The school also said the administration followed proper protocol procedures following the incident.
