BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Several main streets in Boston will be closed for approximately two hours Thursday night to allow for the running of the annual JP Morgan Corporate Challenge.
The Boston Transportation Department says roads along the race route will be closed to vehicular traffic from approximately 6:45 p.m. to 8:10 p.m. while an estimated 12,000 runners representing 600 companies run the corporate challenge.
The race begins at 7:15 p.m. on Charles Street at the Boston Common. From Charles Street, the runners will proceed left onto Beacon Street, left onto Arlington Street, and right onto Commonwealth Avenue (outbound). They will then head to Kenmore Square, turn around after the MBTA bus way back onto Commonwealth Avenue, take a right onto Arlington Street, a left onto Boylston Street, and a left onto Charles Street.
