Search for 62-year-old woman's killer turns to Londonderry home

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Police launched an intensive search of a Londonderry, N.H. home Wednesday in connection to the investigation of Denise Robert’s murder in 2015.

The search warrant allowed police to scour a home and property at 43 Kendall Pond Rd., according to New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon MacDonald.

Neighbors told Boston 25 News reporter Red Daniel they don't know the residents of the home well, but they had no reason to be suspicious.

“I know the one guy who lives there does fireworks every year, used to do fireworks every year since we have been here thought he was pretty cool,” neighbor Dana Larock said.

Denise Roberts, 62, was murdered in Manchester, N.H. on Aug. 30, 2015 as she was walking down a street in town.

Police spent time searching in a shed and inside Unit B at the duplex. They removed several items in bags.

"My best guess is somebody was in a vehicle. They needed money, probably for a fix, I  think it has something to do with the heroin problem. It was dark. That person probably thought he could scare her. She's an easy target," Denise's brother, Tom, told Boston 25 News last year.

Neighbor John Sherman told Boston 25 News he knows the woman who owns the home and she told him why police were searching but wouldn't go into detail.

“I promised her I wouldn't say anything,” he said. “That's all I can tell her.”

There is a $45,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.
