Sandy Hook shooter had no drugs or alcohol in system

(MyFoxBoston.com) – Recently released toxicology tests show that Adam Lanza, the shooter behind the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre had no drugs or alcohol in his system when he shot and killed 20 first-graders and six faculty members at the Newtown school last December, according to the Hartford Courant.

That includes no traces of any anti-depressants or anti-psychotic medications.

The tests were conducted as part of Lanza's autopsy. The 20-year-old shot himself following the rampage inside the school.

Law officials said Lanza had received psychiatric care at some point, but it's not known if he was prescribed any medications at the time of the shooting.
