Sam Adams, bars nationwide raise funds for marathon victims

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Samuel Adams is teaming up with the Greg Hill Foundation to assist victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

The beer company says they will collect donations at their Boston brewery for the entire month of April. Last week, they announced all proceeds from their limited edition "Boston 26.2 Brew" would be donated to the victims.

According to their website, all donations received by Sam Adams will be given to the Greg Hill Foundation. The foundation was established in 2010 to help local families touched by tragedy. Sam Adams says the foundation has already provided financial support to nine families.

Sam Adams has heard from bar and restaurant owners across the U.S. who plan to raise funds for the Greg Hill Foundation.
