WINDHAM (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Two New Hampshire schools were placed in "safe mode" Tuesday after gunshots were fired in the area.
Windham Police tell FOX 25 the Windham Middle School and the Golden Brook Elementary School were alerted to the gunshots just before 12 p.m. Safe mode was lifted less than an hour later.
Police were investigating the reported gunshots.
