BOSTON — A box truck rollover inside the O’Neill Tunnel in Boston caused a nightmare commute for drivers headed into the city early Friday morning.
Few details have been released, but officials said the crash was reported northbound before 5 a.m.

Three of the four lanes inside the tunnel were closed because of the crash, and severe delays were reported as a result.
Boston 25 News Traffic Reporter Julie Grauert said delays of seven miles were reported, and drive times were more than doubles in comparison to a normal Friday morning commute.

Crews worked to remove the crash and officials were able to reopen the lanes just after 6 a.m.
It’s unknown what caused the box truck to roll over, and luckily no injuries were reported.
No other information was immediately available.
