Robber pointed gun at store clerk, demanded he vote for Obama

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - An armed masked man robbed an Ohio convenience store clerk at gunpoint and demanded he vote for President Barack Obama.

According to The Smoking Gun, it happened Tuesday at Convenient Food Mart in Warren. The suspect was described as a black male. He was wearing a bandana, which covered face. Witnesses told police he pointed the gun at the clerk and repeatedly asked who he voted for in the presidential election.

The clerk said he was not allowed to vote. The gunman then said "Vote Obama. This is Obama, b*****s." The gunman then fled from the scene with $800 from the register.

An arrest has not been made in the stickup, which was captured on store surveillance video.

Police were dispatched to the store 22 minutes after polls closed in the state.
