RMV sends home two registrations, only one is correct

(MyFoxBoston.com) – Drivers in Massachusetts may have received two registrations within the last month; however, only one of them is right, the Registry of Motor Vehicles says.

Of the two registrations sent to households in Massachusetts, one of them contains incorrect vehicle information.

The RMV is asking residents to verify the vehicle information on both registrations and to destroy the document containing the incorrect information.

According to the RMV, the second registration was created as a result of a merging error that happened during the printing process.

Despite the error, the RMV says no personal information has been compromised.
