BOSTON — If you ride the commuter rail, you’ll want to know about the new train schedules that have gone into effect Monday, May 22.
All MBTA Commuter Rail trains currently running will continue service, but a few changes have been made to several routes.
The Framingham/Worcester Line has added a new stop at Boston Landing in Brighton. Because of this, arrivals and departure times along the line were adjusted. Non-stop train service between Worcester and Boston will continue each weekday. The ‘HeartToHub’ inbound train now leaves Worcester at 8 a.m., five minutes earlier than before, and the outbound train leaves South Station at 7:35 p.m. daily.

The Newburyport/Rockport, Fitchburg, Haverhill and Providence/Stoughton lines were modified, but the changes were minor, impacting certain arrival and departure times.
There are no changes to the Lowell, Needham, Franklin, Fairmount, Middleborough, Kingston/Plymouth and Greenbush lines.
New schedules are now in effect! The PIC is here to provide commute information. Remember these are new schedules for our crews as well. ^JM
