Revere police seek woman who stole firefighter's wallet

REVERE, Mass. ( -- Revere police are looking to identify a woman who they say went into a fire house while crews were responding to a fire and stole a firefighter's wallet.

The woman, along with two children, reportedly entered the Revere Central Fire Station on Broadway on July 7. At that time, the firefighters in the house were out on a call for an active fire on Revere Beach.

Police say the woman then walked around the fire station, later taking a wallet that belonged to a firefighter who left it behind while he responded to the fire.

Later that night, police say the woman used the firefighter's credit card in multiple stores around Revere, including Target and Payless ShoeSource.

The Revere Police Department released surveillance photos of the woman and have asked that anyone who can identify the woman contact Detective Kenneth Bruker by emailing him at or calling 781-656-1128.
