Residents: City plow to blame for several cars being damaged along Commonwealth Avenue

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – Twenty cars were damaged in Brighton and residents believe a city plow is to blame.

The damage was found along a quarter-mile strip of Commonwealth Avenue. Driver's side mirrors were cracked, bent back and some were completely torn off Tuesday. Others people found damage to their bumpers.

Witnesses say they see how close the plows get to cars and aren't surprised by the damage.

Boston city officials told FOX 25 so far they haven't received any reports of a snow plow being responsible.

Officials say anyone whose property was damaged should file a complaint with the city.
