Report: the first lady won't be living in the White House

Melania Trump (R) greets her husband Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump after the town hall debate at Washington University on October 9, 2016 in St Louis, Missouri

BOSTON — Future first lady Melania Trump won't be moving into the White House in January, according to a new report from the New York Post.

The news outlet says it has learned Melania Trump won't be moving into the White House after Donald Trump's inauguration -- and neither will their son Barron.

In fact, the Post says Melania won't be moving so Barron can continue living in Manhattan's Upper West Side and stay in his private school.

The New York Post cites unnamed sources reporting that Melania and Barron "have become closer" during the campaign and won't be moving to Washington.

A source told the Post the pair may move to the White House after the school year, but there is not plan in place for that.
