(MyFoxBoston.com) -- A popular dip ingredient could be experiencing a shortage just as NFL fans are starting to plan out their playoff and Super Bowl snack foods.

The company does not plan to have more shipments of the popular snack item until February due to what they describe as a plant issue. They also tell Ad Age another factor in the shortage is the high demand, adding that they expect it to be a "short-term issue."
