Report: Marijuana-related jobs to outpace manufacturing jobs by 2020

A new report is projecting that by 2020, the legal recreational marijuana market will have created more than 250,000 jobs.

The report comes from New Frontier Data, which based its projections on analysis from the Marijuana Policy Group, reports Forbes.

When compared to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, manufacturing jobs are expected to decline drastically by 2024, as well as utility jobs and government jobs. Cannabis related careers are expected to outpace manufacturing jobs by 2020.

New Frontier based its projections on the markets that already have legal marijuana, and didn't include the possibility for more states legalizing marijuana.
