Report: Gronkowski cleared to play, remains questionable for Sunday

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Rob Gronkowski has reportedly been cleared by his doctors to play against the New York Jets Sunday, but remains questionable on the Patriots injury report.

Profootballtalk.com reports Gronk's agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told them via text message the New England Patriots tight end was cleared by all of his doctors to play early Friday morning.

Despite being cleared, the team's injury report had Gronk listed as "questionable" Friday afternoon. The ultimate decision will be left up to coach Bill Belichick.

The 24-year-old has yet to make an appearance this season after suffering a forearm injury and undergoing back surgery during the offseason.
