BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Clippers have reportedly agreed upon a deal to send coach Doc Rivers west.
According to Yahoo! NBA columnist Adrian Wojnarowski, the Clippers will give up an unprotected first round draft pick in 2015 for the rights to hire Rivers.
Wojnarowski, citing unidentified sources, said the Clippers called the Celtics Sunday offering the draft pick.
Wojnarowski reported that Rivers agreed to three-year, $21 million deal.
The NBA would need to approve the deal.
