Report: Bostonians have one of nation's longest commutes


BOSTON ( -- A chart released last week suggests nearly one-fourth of residents spend an hour commuting each way into Boston.'s chart places Boston in third among 10 cities with the longest commutes. Just under 23-percent of Boston commuters spend upwards of an hour on their commute. The mean travel time for Bostonians was 28.6 minutes.

New York took first place, followed by Washington, D.C. The nation's capital takes top honors for being the worst location for delays in the U.S.
