• Rep. backs proposal to streamline access to cell phone records


    (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – It's a bill that could potentially save lives. Some people thought it would have saved Kelsey Smith's life in 2007 by simply making it easier to get access to cell phone records of someone believed to be in danger. In Kelsey's case, by the time the cell phone provider gave up her information, it was too late.

    One state representative doesn't want that to happen again. State Rep. Shaunna O'Connell, who filed the bill in the last session, has more.
