Remember Me? New billboard hopes to remind public of Baby Doe

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) - The Massachusetts Department of transportation released a new billboard Tuesday hoping to bring in a new round of tips related to the discovery of a child's remains on Deer Island.

"The billboards represent a redesign and new wording from digital billboards that MassDOT had featured over the past two months; the redesign is intended to help maintain the case’s high public profile by presenting a fresh image to the tens of thousands of motorists who pass the billboards every day," a release from State Police said.

The girl, who police estimate was around 4 years old at the time of her death, was found in a trash bag on the western shore of Deer Island. he is believed to have had brown hair, brown eyes and pierced ears.

People with tips who prefer to text can do so anonymously by texting GIRL to 67283, followed by their tip. A phone hotline has also been set up where tips can be called in to (617) 396-5655.
