FALMOUTH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The District Attorney's office has identified the human remains discovered in a wooded area earlier in the week.
Investigators tell FOX 25 they were called to the scene at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday when a person walking their dog found what they thought were remains off of a walking trail in Beebe Woods.
On Thursday, the Cape & Islands District Attorney's office identified the body found as 58-year-old Gerard J. Farley of Falmouth.
Officials would not comment on how long the remains were believed to be in the woods.
