(MyFoxBoston.com) – A famous rapper has apologized for offensive lyrics about rape, but a Massachusetts company is still giving him the boot.
Canton-based Reebok has dropped Rick Ross as a company spokesman.
Ross has come under fire for his lyrics, which appear to refer to drugging women and raping them. In a statement, Reebok said Ross failed to live up to the "values of our brand."
Ross apologized for the lyrics in a Tweet and says he doesn't condone rape.
