Red Sox to release tickets in anticipation of World Series run

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – In anticipation of a possible Red Sox World Series run, the organization will a limited number of tickets for World Series games that may be played at Fenway Park.

According to the Red Sox, games 1, 2, 6, and 7 of a possible 2013 World Series will be available via automated phone only beginning at 2 p.m. Friday. To purchase tickets, call 1-888-REDSOX6.

Fans with disabilities may call 1-877-RED-SOX9 to purchase accessible seating (while supplies last). The Red Sox' TTY number is 617-226-6644.

Fans who registered and were selected in the random online drawing for the opportunity to purchase World Series tickets will be notified Thursday of their selection via email. Those fans will have the chance to purchase tickets starting at noon Friday on redsox.com.

No tickets will be available at the Fenway Park ticket office.

There will be a four ticket limit per fan for World Series games. Ticket prices for those games range from $125 to $375.
