COHASSET, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 31-year-old Quincy man was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol after he reportedly pulled into the Cohasset Police Department's parking lot, exited his vehicle, and began to relieve himself in full view of officers.
Christopher D. Callinan was arraigned Monday on several charges, including operating under the influence of liquor – second offense, failure to drive in marked lanes, and possession of Class E pills.
Police said they received a call from a woman, driving on South Main Street around 6 p.m. Sunday, claiming she and her husband were being followed by a Honda Civic. She also told police that the driver behind her was all over the road and that every time they pulled over to let him pass, the driver would not pass, reports Wicked Local Cohasset.
Police told the woman to drive to their headquarters which is very close to South Main Street. As the woman pulled into the parking lot, she was met by an officer.
According to the website, the driver of the Civic also reportedly pulled into the parking lot blocking several parking spaces. He then exited his car and began to relieve himself in front of officers and the woman
Acting Cohasset Chief of Police William Quigley told the website he could not remember ever having an OUI arrest in the police parking lot.
