(MyFoxBoston.com) – The Animal Rescue League of Boston is asking for help regarding the neglect of a puppy found shivering in Dorchester late Wednesday morning.
The puppy, which has been named Oliver Twist, was discovered by a FedEx driver.
A rescue team rushed the puppy to the shelter for immediate medical attention because the puppy was severely emaciated. He was also covered in his own urine and feces and had overgrown nails. He was also diagnosed with a bacterial infection.
Anyone with information regarding the neglect is asked to contact the Anti- Cruelty Law Enforcement Department at 617-226-5610.
