BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Prosecutors in the Odin Lloyd murder trial have asked the court to authorize DNA testing on certain pieces of evidence. Former Patriot Aaron Hernandez is accused of murdering Lloyd last summer.
Prosecutors want to test some biological material recovered from Lloyd's left hand as well as swab a 22-caliber pistol found along Landry Avenue in North Attleboro, which is close to Hernandez's home. They also want to test firearms and ammunition found at Hernandez's residence as well as in a rental car and black Hummer.
Prosecutors say that Hernandez did not agree to the testing.
