Probe of girl's killing turns to racetrack site


PALMER, Mass. (AP) - The family of slain teenager Molly Bish is hoping thatsome evidence in the unsolved killing turns up at the site of a racetrack beingbuilt in Palmer.

Bish's mother, Magdalene Bish, says the family is optimistic thatconstruction workers will find something that identifies a suspect - maybe apiece of clothing with DNA - while they're clearing the site.

Molly Bish was 16 when she disappeared in 2000 from Comins Pond in Warren,where she was a lifeguard. Her remains were found three years later inneighboring Palmer near the 650-acre site where the racetrack is being built.No arrests have been made.

State police brought a cadaver dog to the racetrack site on Friday, butdidn't find anything.
