Preparations are underway for Thursday's snowstorm - and for some, that means loading up on salt.
William Ricker drivers a truck for a living.
He was busy Wednesday morning loading up his rig with salt in Chelsea - in hopes he can relax during the storm Thursday.
"I think I'll stay in bed tomorrow morning," Ricker said. "With the traffic and snow storms - forget it. Stay off the roads."

SNOWSTORM UPDATESBoston Mayor Marty Walsh talks about city's snow preps
Posted by Boston 25 News on Wednesday, January 3, 2018
Mayor Marty Walsh spoke with Boston 25 News Wednesday morning and said the city is doing everything possible to prepare for the storm.
They're asking residents to get all of their shopping and home preparations done today.
He also said there will be 700 machines out working to keep the roads safe and they will begin pre-treating roads Wednesday night. Boston Public Schools will be closed Thursday.
"First job is going to be to make sure we can get these streets as wife as possible, because the cold weather coming right behind will turn the snow to ice," Mayor Walsh said. "And if we don't widen the streets immediately, we'll lose the streets for a few days."
The MBTA also said it is doing everything it can to prepare for the storm.
A blizzard warning has been issued for part of Massachusetts.
