Pregnant woman stabbed during attempted robbery in Dorchester

BOSTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Boston police said a pregnant woman was stabbed while walking to her boyfriend's house early Saturday morning.

Police said the woman was on her cell phone with her boyfriend when she was approached by a man who told her to "run (her) pockets" at about 2:15 a.m. Police said the woman refused to empty her pockets and was stabbed twice in the arm.

The woman told police she was six months pregnant and was taken to Boston Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.

The suspect was described as black man with a young face. He was about five feet two inches tall and was wearing a green hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
