QUINCY, Mass (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A 21-year-old woman is facing charges in an altercation that resulted in a pregnant woman being dragged by a minivan.
The Patriot Ledger reports Emalie Bowlen, of Quincy, is charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a pregnant woman for a Friday night altercation on Germain Avenue.
The newspaper reports police were called to the scene at about 9 p.m. after a woman who was seven months pregnant was dragged by a 2001 red Dodge Caravan reportedly driven by Bowlen.
The pregnant woman sustained road rash abrasions, but refused medical attention.
