Powerball signs can't accomodate $1.4B jackpot

BOSTON — Powerball signs just can't handle the record breaking $1.4 billion Powerball jackpot.

Most Powerball signs have room enough for three number spaces - the hundred-thousandths place, the ten-thousandths place and the thousandths place. But now that the Powerball has gone over the billion dollar mark, the signs can't accommodate it.

Most signs are just showing $999 million. The next drawing is Wednesday and it is very likely it could go higher than $1.4 billion.

Odds of winning it all are 1 in 292,201,338.
