• Police: Woman attacked, thrown from car


    BEDFORD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Bedford were investigating a reported sexual assault that happened early Sunday morning.

    Police said the incident happened just after 4 a.m. on Dudley Road. When police arrived they found the victim, a woman, suffering from injuries that were not life-threatening. She was taken to a hospital.

    Police later found a crashed car just up the road and took two men into custody. They were questioned and later released. Police said they knew the victim and were calling them persons of interest in the investigation.

    It was initially reported that the woman was thrown from the car as it was moving, but police later said the car was not moving.

    An investigation is ongoing.
