Police: Victim stabbed, iPad stolen near Boston Univ. campus

BROOKLINE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Brookline are on the hunt for two men. Officials say they stabbed and punched a victim around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday during an armed robbery near Browne and Pleasant streets.

Police say the men were wearing knit caps over their faces. In the attack, they also stole the victim's iPad.

The suspects are roughly 6 feet tall and were wearing fleece pullovers and jeans. Police say they were last seen heading towards Saint Paul Street.
    
Boston University's website says the victim was a research assistant from the medical campus. The 30-year-old is being treated for two superficial stab wounds at Beth Israel.
    
This incident comes just a week after a rash of other muggings reported around the same area near the BU campus. If you have any information, call police.
