DANVERS, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Danvers man was arrested Monday after he allegedly ran into Kappy's Liquors in Peabody while not wearing a shirt, but carrying a stack of New England Patriots t-shirts and demanded a taxi, police said.

Gregory Hardin, 51, has been charged with receiving stolen property over $250 for the incident which occurred at about 9:15 p.m., reports the Peabody Patch.

An employee called police after Hardin, who appeared to be drunk, frantically entered the store, demanding employees call him a cab.

According to the Patch, Hardin allegedly left the store on foot and was picked up by police near Sylvan Street a short time thereafter.

Police said an officer returned the Patriots t-shirts, which had been reported stolen, to the Sears located across the street from Kappy's Tuesday.
