PEABODY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) â Police shut down two marijuana growing operations at two homes in Peabody, recovered plants worth about $500,000 and arrested three men Monday afternoon.
About 500 marijuana plants were seized by police along with guns and an explosive device during a raid of two homes, officials say. A marijuana grow operation was found at 112 Margin St., and another was found at 132 Winona St., officials say.
Justin Damico, 21, and John Damico, 35, both of Peabody were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute class D drugs, conspiracy to violate drug laws, possession of an infernal I machine, possession with intent to distribute class C drugs, possession of a large capacity feeding device, possession of class D drugs, and improper storage of a firearm.
Joseph Damico, 44, of Peabody was arrested and charged with possession of class D drugs, conspiracy to violate drug laws, possession with intent to distribute class D drugs, and possession with intent to distribute class C drugs.
