Police search for suspect wanted in Methuen bank robbery

METHUEN, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Methuen police are on the hunt for an armed robber.

Authorities said the suspect robbed the People's United Bank branch on Lowell Street Tuesday afternoon.

Surveillance pictures show the suspect wearing a dark hoodie and a mask covering his face. He was able to escape and was last seen getting into a small white four-door car.
    
Authorities believe the car was stolen in Lawrence.
    
Anyone with information is asked to call Methuen police.
