Police search for North Station cell phone thief

(MyFoxBoston.com) – The Transit Police are asking for the public's assistance identifying a male suspect who reportedly reached into the North Station Commuter Rail information booth window and stole an employee's cell phone.

The incident occurred May 9 at about 12:20 p.m. Police said the suspect stole a black T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 cell phone.

The suspect is described as a white male approximately 35-years-old and 5'6" tall with a heavy build. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a blue long sleeve shirt with a black and blue stripped tie, black pants, and he was carrying a black backpack.
