Police search for man who exposed himself, attempted to assault 2 women

HAVERHILL, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police in Haverhill are warning women about a serial flasher who attempted to assault two people.

Investigators say the man exposed himself to four women. All of the incidents happened in the Monument Square area of Haverhill.

In some cases, women said they looked outside their home to see a man inappropriately touching himself. Another woman said she was grabbed while jogging.

An elderly woman claims the man came up behind her while she was walking and knocked off her glasses. She bit him and was able to get away.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 40s or early 50s with salt and pepper hair and an unkempt beard. He is believed to be about 5'7" tall.

During the attacks, the man was wearing a hoodie, windbreaker, a ski mask, and bright red or orange wind pants.

Police will be stepping up patrols in the area.
